The Ghost of Christmas Presence
I am a warm and caring thought,
that’s with you in the snow,
lo’ sometimes you forget me dear
some love; to you; is shown,
I am the strength within your bones,
when weights become too much,
lo’ sometimes you forget me dear
to you; I’ll bring some luck,
I am your friend connection,
at those lonely times,
lo’ sometimes you forget me dear
just read; these happy rhymes,
I am the voice inside your head,
stating you’re a present,
lo’ sometimes you forget me dear,
the ghost; of Christmas presence.
Christmas Is…
Christmas is a pressure;
to test; that you are there,
it does not matter; if it’s wrapped
just; as long; you care,
Christmas is a thank you note;
make sure; you get it right,
for drunken fight forgetfulness
cannot; be guiding light,
Christmas is a friendly ghost;
remember; what you had,
as things can be; both lost and found
so cry; and be so glad,
Christmas is a renew sheet;
be who; you want to be,
just as long; a meaning comes
to redefine; happy.

- Comment from author about the poem: A bit cheeky I know, but I thought I would you give you a "two for one" here. When writing these, I immediately thought that these are very reminiscent of the wishes I have read in big bumper Christmas cards, whilst browsing the shops. Hence, I have paired them together. I hope that you enjoy these more "palatable" and "more in tune to the popular belief" messages, and like the candles and sparklers in the banner picture, may your hopes and dreams shine bright. Seasons greetings again, New Year's poem will be on the way, and please do stay safe in the madness everyone.
