The Wind

jaxolotlPoems

Love is something that can’t be created nor destroyed

But, lost in and endless void.

Slipped away from one’s grasp.

Something they couldn’t clasp.

Taken by the wind of broken vows.

Ever lost and never found.

Floating through far lands.

Making the owner run across fields of bland.

Running till heaving breaths.

Giving up to lay and rest.

Once the wind grabs hold of love.

It will run to the stars above,

Looking for a new worthy to give to.

So hold on tight,

Never let go.

Or the wind will take your love.

And never let go.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem shows how love can be easily taken away. So don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t let it slip. Don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t ever let go. Or else the wind might just take it awat.

Confirming love is something that happens by it`s own accord and if not looked after correctly, will leave on it`s own accord. Enjoyed the read
