I Might Be a Lunatic.
I believe that all the wars could finally end.
I believe every nation could again be friends.
I believe we can wash the blood off the streets.
I believe there has to be a way to find peace.
I believe we can all love thy neighbour again.
I believe we have it in us to truly understand.
I believe the world together can end poverty.
I believe everyone should be treated equally.
I believe we can end for good all homelessness.
I believe we can clean the world of selfishness.
I believe no living thing should ever be hungry.
I believe in the safety of all people’s families.
I believe we can put an end to daily starvation.
I believe we ourselves are our own salvation.
I believe good could win the against all evil.
I believe that nothing should ever be impossible.
I believe all people have the right to be at peace.
I believe in the process and right of free speech.
I believe in honestly valuing all forms of our life.
I believe everyone has the right to sleep at night.
I believe in the value of words and not the gun.
I believe all is equal and there’s not a chosen one.
I believe we can make the world a better place.
I believe this can be done with no one losing face.
I believe it’s not too late to save the living planet.
To make it a safe place for everyone to prosper in it.
I believe I might be just being too over optimistic.
I believe also, I just might possibly be a lunatic.

I feel that the current solutions are more of a temporary fix than a fundamental solution. I believe that the day will come when we will be able to find a fundamental solution and solve each problem one by one.
Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated ( there may not be enough time to do them one by one!!!
We that believe have a power to nudge and influence… beautiful sentiments and at the start of a clean slate as well! 👍🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated. I don`t often like my own writings, but i like this one
That’s good to know. It makes one feel normal. You are most welcome 🙏🏻
If so lunatics should rule the earth, after all we all say they do anyway. A beautiful poem of peace and humanity that we all should aspire to
Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated
Don’t ever stop believing Tobani and I assure you, you are no lunatic. We all need hope. A very happy and healthy new year to you dear poet. A wonderful write.
Thank you Cassie for your feedback, much appreciated as always ( i was getting to like the idea of being a lunatic!!!). Happy New Year To You and All
if wanting all these things makes you a lunatic, than I am one too Tobani.
a very impressive write.
Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated ( i am glad i am not the only lunatic)
If you are a lunatic, I am downright barking at the moon! Here's looking at you Ozzy Osbourne! 🐺 Here's hoping for all of those things we believe in to come true...and for all of us to get to work at it! Happy New Year, my friend! ❤️
Thank you for your feedback, appreciated as always (good to know there are a few lunatics around!!!)
Hehe! Indeed!
It is the lunatics of the world, with their unrealistic visions of what can be as opposed to what is, and have never wavered from their commitment, that has saved us time and again. They're still out there. I love this poem and the absolute truth of it. May we keep faith in each other, and make it stronger. Great write!
Thank you for your feedback, Very Much appreciated
Nice poem!
I too believe in a better world but the believers have to outnumber the destroyers.
Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated ( point taken, doesn`t mean we give up)
Anything is possible as long as you have Faith and Hope

We have no choice. We have to be Optimistic for our kid's sake. Great poem that made me think.
Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated
"Men have called me mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or is not the loftiest intelligence…”
---Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849). In an apparent lunatic, there might be a genius...Soman Ragavan. 2 January, 2025.

I’m wearing my Straight-Jacket praying the same sentiments.
Well said .
Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated
they say the only things people can agree on are death and taxes...I've tried to think of a few more, but there is always the thought that someone will choose not to believe something just for the heck of it.
Thank you for your feedback
i don't think it is being a lunatic - but definitely over optimistic - and i second all your beliefs - they are worth working for
