Exotic Gypsies

Reynaldo Casison

It Was Sweetly Kissed,

From One Exotic Gypsy to the Other,

The Luminous Romance,

Of The Golden Rose Moon,

The Midnight was a Champagne Caress,

Of Revelers, Lovers, and Drifters,

Some Whose Gaze was Ablaze,

With Fireworks

and Some Whose Pretty Gaze

Was Ablaze with the Quiet Beauty,

of Roses and Stars,

The Festive Jazz Rhythms,

Caroused and Caressed,

From Tambourine to Harmonica,

All Dressed with the Moonlight,

With Its Serenade of Exquisite Stars,

When We Gazed at the Midnight Stars,

They Sparkled like Diamonds

with a Wink To the Past,

and A Tenderly Exotic Longing Kiss

To the Future,

That It Would Be Somehow Sweeter,

And Exquisitely Luminous,

Like The Salsa Ballet of Waves,

Waltzing Hip WithIn Hip

With the Moonlight

To the Lighthouse Heavenly Shore,

With the Exotic Gypsies,

We Love to Adore,

Swaying their Hems,

With the Summers of Roses,

With Our Love,

And,

Sweet Moonlit Poses
