Obadiah’s story is not a simple one. His dad walked out on his mom when he was born. Mom tried her best to be both mom and dad. Knowing all the while she can’t teach him how to be a man. Try as she would; she did all she knew how to do. This never stopped Obadiah from never saying I love you. As he grew up he was bullied in school. Kids knew he had no father so they picked on him just to be cool. Obadiah never once followed the crowd. He marched to the beat of his own drum. The only way he knew how. He was angry inside and this hurt his mother deeply. He pulled away from her love though. He felt completely unworthy. His relationship with his mom was one of very little words. He kept in touch as much as he can; but he never wanted to burden her. Opal loves her son and would do anything for him. She knows about free will though; so she backed off as much as she can. She never wanted to she just knew she couldn’t force her son to be in her life. Now her health is fading and all she wants is her son by her side. Obadiah is a better man now as he had a mentor along the way. One who taught him how to hold tightly onto faith. So will this end well for Obadiah and Opal? I think by now if you want that answer, you know what to do.

Thank you
You are very welcome
Happy endings seem to be in your nature so I'm leaning that way. Another fun read with organized theme and message.
