Thank you silence

Maplespal

Thank you silence

Thank you silence for surrounding me.
You brought calmness in view to see.
Your emptiness comforts my growing fears,
blinding the sounds from my busy ears.

Thank you, for helping me rest.
Each time with you I will invest,
to listen to what my eyes display,
letting the images quietly play.

Thank you, for being so you,
silently talking through my view,
silently chatting with me,
teaching me how to see.

Like a blanket I grab and clutch
I embrace your comforting touch,
when life gets worryingly tense.
Thank you, for your calming sense.

A most wonderful write on the power of silence. It is in silence that we hear. Very nice

It is Deafening or quiet to different people, those who enjoy real silence can have some peace, really enjoyed the read.
