A black and white picture in her gallery

sweksha

There was a black and white picture in her gallery.

She seemed so happy there,

but she wasn't alone

she was with someone

A tall guy was standing with her,

smiling broadly.

He seemed happy too.

The photo was almost two and a half years old.

I assume

maybe ever since she moved out,

she never had the courage to look back or even say sorry or a proper goodbye.

Whenever she hears someone playing the song "NOTHING,"

it looks like memories come to her like waves and sometimes brings tears and regret like it reminds her of someone .

Her eyes get filled with tears and her heart gets heavy,

So she goes somewhere else

somewhere where she won't hear the song anymore.

She sits and

She looks at her phone, and there was a black-and-white picture in her gallery.

This is so emotional and relatable. It really shows how memories and regret can stay with us, and how small things like a song or a photo can bring it all back.

A touching and emotional read, how little things in life can remind us of the memories and mistakes of our journey, well written
