his sister

I didn't recognize her

when she walked in

I know I hate her

for no reason at all

shes the sister of him

the man that ruined me

another cousin of mine

her makeup and dress

all done to be trendy

telling me I look pretty

broken in a hospital bed

I shouldn't hate her

she spoke first to her mom

told her of his sins

but every time I see her

I know deep in my heart

that somehow she loves him

and it tears me apart.
