An invisible man
His ordinary tale
No highlights
No splash of colour
No sparkle that shines
Picture drawn in solid grey
Rage of shadow
Rage of unheard violin
Moth's yearning to shatter cocoon
Crying out to be seen
Disembodied desires
Seeking refuge in tomorrow
Yearning swells like river in deluge
Tomorrow arrives and next days follow
Invisible reflection in mirror,
Grabs him by the throat
Whispers in his ear
"You were not born to be bold"
Though the story so mundane and old
In deep recess of his soul
It pleads to be told
Everything need shadows in the Sun
Perhaps, he made others shine, being one

Metaphor that leaves questions. There are many emotions presented here in contrast to the mundane and gray

Nice! In poetry’s process our words may be the grey, solidly blanketing the poetic canvas that is like a white noise of articulation disguising and blurring the poet themselves. And because poems tend to live lives of their own and traverse life and consciousness with their unique personas can and do leave the poet invisible. Some say that tis is as it should be but it can be perceived as a mixed blessing. But that’s just me. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I would say WOW! A lovely interpretation of the poem. I am so glad for your read and thoughts. Appreciate the support.
