The ‘Advert Family’ whatever will be,
All ‘Toothpaste Smiles’ and plenty for tea,
Have the most Modern of Homes being shiny and clean,
No hint of life’s Buckshot will ever be seen.
For the table does strain every blest Christmas Day,
With the weight of the food they all put away,
And buckets of drink from the very best vines,
As money is no object for the ‘Commercial Kind’.
Parading on holiday out in the Sun,
With annoying cute kids and ‘Miss World’ for a Mum.
With the latest in cars and clothes set to match,
All distortions of life they daily dispatch.
Their ‘Liberace’ smiles and slim bodies implore,
A dialogue of speech from the rank Stable floor.
For the ‘Advert Family’ it must be said,
Are the Inaccurate Conception where all bunkum is bred.

- Comment from author about the poem: ‘Affordable Prices’ . These people seem to know what YOU can afford. The Aftershave Ads and Perfume ones with the Models make me reach for the bucket before its to late.

I totally agree, according to the Ad men we have perfect life`s, houses and a lot of money in the bank to waste on utter rubbish that we cannot live without. Enjoyed the read.
Thank you for Reading, And now a word from our sponsor...
(Exactly), you are very welcome
Try as I might I still get stung at times, it’s a subliminal trick making us mindless participants in their economy.
Thank you, and the next time you get stung there’s an Advert for ‘Stings’ were you rub this Cream on and ...
🤣 perhaps it’s because as a child I tended to be trusting of others (gullible is the npc word) why wouldn’t we without justifiable reason… so Advert and Co are taking advantage!
