In the twilight zone
When the life starts fading
Music plays softly in the dimly lit room
Beckoning you to step in
Dying notes of the piano
Decaying notes of the drum
Sound of saxophone floats in
The sad tune, the song of joy, the song of love
They merge into one
You opened your eyes
You opened your heart
An ethereal voice floated in
Forms do not matter
All part of symphony of life
A momentary flash of light,
Warm feeling in your heart
The music started playing
Takes you back to mother's womb

Music has the ability to fit the mood and situation at that time, and each person interprets it a different way, which is what makes it so magical, enjoyed the read. have a great weekend

Dark but there is a warmth with it as well. A sense of loneliness and an unfinished feeling to life. Sad

Ah, yes. Music is medicine for the soul and so much more. Indeed, a hard thing to describe, but you did well, methinks. Love the last line because, truly, that is when we first started to hear music. There is something magical about music that truly does bring us back to our nascent stage in life...perhaps more than any other thing. Well done, my friend! ๐๐น
