Are The Words Still Healing

TobaniNataiella

Are The Words Still Heeling.

As your mind unravels.

Do the words travel.

The thoughts you're predicting.

Are the words contradicting.

As you look for solutions

Are the words confusing.

As your soul darkens.

Do the words enlighten.

As your fears embrace

Are your words a safe place.

As your memory keeps hold.

Are your words retold.

As your heart is raging.

Are the words engaging.

Laid bare your feelings.

Are the words believing.

Your body is aching.

Are the words invigorating.

Life in slow motion.

Do the words display emotion.

As you close your eyes.

Do the words come alive.

As you display the truth.

Are the words really you.

As the pain is growing.

Are the words still hurting.

As you crave attention.

Are the words resisting.

As your hopes expire

Do the words inspire.

Your ambitions receding.

Do the words have meanings.

In the world you confided.

Have the words decided.

Looking to your past.

One question left to ask.

The wounds are still bleeding.

Are the words still healing.

I read and asked myself questions one by one. I think it's a good poem.

A most intersting format that makes good sense for the theme of the poem. Each question in a type of duality not answered but implied in a gentle way. Very nice it seemes quite eastern in its approach to teaching

The word on words and our emotional journey, in a rhythmic and contemplative flow. Good use of repetition.

I love this poem! it shows the healing process, and that even though words might not seem much, they can inspire greatly. They have power but can be limited when expressing emotions and stuff.
