UNKNOWN VICTIM

nephilim56

I will not run
For your rifle butt
I will not kneel
Beside my grave.

The stony ground
Beneath my feet
I will walk proudly
To the end.

Upon two legs
I stand
Those about me
Are on knees.

So raise your pistol
Architect of crime
Destined for defeat
I will not ask why
Nor will I bow
This moment is mine now.
