Winter Nights

Mr. Not

Notice of absence from Mr. Not
I realized it's been a while since I was online. I hope everyone is doing well. I will probably not be logging on regularly now either, just decided to leave a notice. 06.01.2025

through deserted nights I wander
the only sound the creaking of my boot
and the forest beside me is quiet
all sounds wrapped in wool
and the snow spirals down in front of the streetlight
as I breathe in the crisp air,
and watch the Halfmoon

  • Comment from author about the poem: Good new year! It's been a while. Not feeling very inspired as of late, as you probably can tell from the low effort poem. Recently went through my older poems as well and realized they're not that good either, so that's probably just the extent of my poetic abilities.

Your poetry speaks, and your abilities are fluid, improving with every once of effort and time put into it. Your perseverance and self-reflection are symptoms of growth and development; encouraging us to keep going as well! Indeed it shall be a good year. 🙏🏻🕊👍🏻

“All sounds wrapped in wool” the PERFECT description of that snow-silencing phenomenon。love this poem
