what is the distance
between
nothing and everything
two words
separated by two worlds
and an abyss
between
an undoing of my doing
an unraveling of all that’s wound
tightly inside
like spilt entrails
scrying decrying
for all
to
see
what is the distance
between
innocence and instinct
can we make out the line
the boundary
in between
what was
what is
does that
wall determine
what will or
won’t
be
between
the tears
in between my
frozen fingers
what is the distance
the difference
between
what is seen
and
un
seen
be
tween

Tristan you have grown very philisophical and versed it in beautiful poetry. So many of these questions the difference between brilliant and insane, our catigorization in which one must be one or another. I see the world without categories. So there is no distance between. A most beautiful write
Thank you Soren. Indeed, this is a philosophical piece. I am glad that you found it to be engaging and agree, we try to box things in to make us feel safe or special...but those are boxes are faux at best. And they don't really hold too well! Thanks again for your deep and thorughful engagement with my poem! 🙏❤️
There will be serious tut-tuttings in some places, if there is even a whiff of anyone saying 'Wooh!' or 'Yeah!' at the end of any particularly joyful hymn or song. And don't dare cough or sneeze once during the sermon! lol. I saw the latter as a notice in a convent-cum-church, adding 'sneezing loudly can distract from silent worship' Doh!
LOL! Trust my, Orchi, i have been in such churches. I yell it all the louder! 🤣 I can make a very convincing fake sneeze too! 😂#JustSaying Anywho, thank you so much for reading and commenting, my friend! 🙏❤️

Thank you kindly Thad! I am glad that this delivered for sure and that you enjoyed it! Much appreciated my friend! ❤️🙏
i really really like this poem, and it really seems that the between changes. sometimes the line between everything and nothing is blurred, and the two worlds seem more like one. have you ever felt absolutely nothing and everything at the same time? and what boundaries are there between the seen and unseen? is wind really all that different from fog?
