The Moon

M. Ali

Revolving around the earth is a moon,

Why does it sink away so soon?

Reflection of the sun is its light,

It provides guidance throughout the night,

Shining in the sky, very far by,

Every languid person sleeps after a sigh,

It creates a long period of darkness

Provides a chance for brains to harness

It is our home’s natural satellite,

It’s color truly is alabaster white,

Showing an example of God’s existence,

Exhibiting he is the only omniscient.

A great write about our closest neighbor and satelite. Nicely worded and rhymed
