Consuming

vicecream

taking in to your body

alchemy through union

you become eachother

you become something new

the profoundness of this intimacy

has brought me to my knees;

belly, heart, eyes down

low to the earth

where the roots of my beloved

have been waiting

so patient

for me to see them, meet them

Right         Here

      A most beautiful poem that adresses the issue of gratitude and the transfer of energy from one living thing to another be it animale or plant. Some native americans would do this but few people today even think of the sacrifice of one life to sustain another. A wonderful message and worth a Fave

        🩵 🙏 🩵 thank you. I have been wrestling with ethics of eating for a long time but only today do I feel like I learned through truly feeling this partnership aspect of the act
