Quem me dara o paraiso

poetaldo

Quem me dara o paraiso
For me to live
I hope it will be my father
I can't wait to go to
My Father's paraiso
Because I know that
My father's paraiso
Will be peaceful for me
I just don't know
When this will happen
I am waiting for this to happened
Maybe it will only happen when I die
I don't want to have anymore
Distraction when I am
Working
I need to concentrate in my
Writing
I can't afford to make anymore
Errors when I am writing my poems
It has to come clear
The message I am trying
To give to my Father
Hopefully he can pas it
To his people
Nobody will die of frostbite
So come and stay warm
Inside my house all throw the Winter
When the spring comes
You can go back to the street again
Eventually
Then it should be
Easter when we will have
A feast for my Father
On good Friday

At first I thought it was a temporal father but then it became clear. The first line eu comprendi em Portugues or rather understood to be Portuguese. This seemed deliberate, just as I was misled to think earthly regarding the father I had been misled to think another language when it was English, Quite clever. A beautiful poem metaphoric in nature.
