Finding Solace in Ink: A Reflection on Love and Loss

thepoeticfool

Oh! to be embraced by a loved one,

enveloped with their love and affection.

While the heart skips a beat,

for the joy of achieving such a feat.

But i have not found the one,

who will fill my life with unexpected fun,

for now, i must suffer,

in agony and endless troubles.

The pen and the paper,

help me overcome my fear,

of not finding a loved one,

who would embrace me with love and affection

I write these poems, not for fame,

but for the comfort, to no avail

Because i still remember the day,

she made my life go astray.

Oh the beauty of these lines!

Make me think that I'm fine,

But when my heart says otherwise

my soul, cries inside.

I know this pain, my friend! I have felt it. I won't give you any clichรฉs, but I am certainly glad that you found poetry as an outlet for expression. It is, indeed, healing. Keep writing and welcome to MyPoeticSide. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

Many choose to write as a therapy of sorts. It concentrates the mind and helps to keep other thoughts at bay. Sorry for your pain. Keep writing.
