Forever Steps

One step after another 

Moving forward for an eventual end 

Not stopping and being told 

To never look behind.

Mistakes fester , hatred grows 

Bubbling behind every print 

Left by the shoe of the creature 

Who you where before.

You will want to look back 

To comprehend the past however 

Your vision will be clouded by the

Tears of yesterday's pain. 

On and on you will go 

Up a mountain 

Down a river 

To the ends of the desolate earth just to 

Get yourself away form yesterday.

You will on form September to May 

Looking forward but only 

Realising what is behind 

You will eventualy stop

Slow down and stumble 

Trust in one to let to stop

Somen to confide in 

But in the end they will go 

They will join yesterday behind you

As you quicken you pace 

To run away form yesterday
