Another Midnight

Reynaldo Casison

Another Midnight

Winter Glistening

With Starry Fountains

The Clouds Drift

Like Graceful Ballerinas

Exotic, White, And Pure As Snow,

The Sky Is Exquisite

Like A Van Gogh Painting I Painted

When The Summer

Honeysuckles Were Young

My Teacher Who Was Really Into Art

And Impressionism

Especially Matisse And Van Gogh,

Said Keep Painting,

While A Young Lady

Wept Like A Summer Fountain,

Those Tears Have Long Faded,

While She May Be A Fine Wine Waterfall,

In Midnight Reverie,

It Seems I've Been Painting Forever

In Words, Evening Rain,

Rhymes And Sighs,

Longing For Some Sweet Love,

And A Cool Sultry Dove,

To Soothe And Rhyme With Everything,

The VineYard Stars,

The Luminous Rose Moon,

And

Even The Midnights

Candles And Clouds

A symphony of images and language! The rising and falling as well as the undulating makes for excellent reading. 👍🏻🙏🏻🕊
