Her

kering.karim

Dine, shine, you're mine... I'll put it all on the line

Feasted them with a swine, instilled gratitude over their recurrent whine

When they were born, one indulgence shoved off the menu - wine

One after another sacrifice in order for them to tow the line

She was once embellished in her own hopes and dreams,

But capitulated to the universal solvent of circumstance

Left the purple patch, all she does now is make them smile

Made it cosy and snug like reeds down river Nile

She said, I'll catch you before you fall

And if predators confront , I'll shove them into the gallotine

Because no dream beats your happiness and the whites of your innocent smile...
