Influenced by Woodkid

"Can't remind your eyes, your face",
Woodkid lines take my mind to a place.
Reflecting upon the missions made,
time with you my honor betrayed.

Across the oceans separated we yearned,
waiting for the days I returned.
Those now gone and quietly past,
only in reflection are missions recast.

Returning to your arms hold repeating,
when I'm reflectively retreating.
Left to my own visions of memory,
remembering using my feelings as emery.

Lessoning the pain of reflection,
to bask in the past affection.
An amazing beat and song,
"Iron" brings these thoughts along.

A most beautiful poem of where one can be taken with the magic of music. Wonderful images here.

I always write listening to music, it seems to open up the old mind and left things flow easier, enjoyed the read
