red

NinjaGirl

see the red

all around

the edges

of vision

taste the

metallic

unleash

the red

let it out

to fight

or to kill

know not

yet but all

one needs

is to keep

the rage

to keep

on fighting.

Seeing red an old cliche is something that can happen in times of extreem rage. Better to let it out a little at a time before hand. I could sense the anger in this poem.

yes, I don't know that I've ever actually "seen red" but it's more like an intense heat

Rage. Indeed one sees red. I have been there. Poetry is a GREAT way to let it out, actually...not that I need to tell you that, because that is exactly what you are doing here. Well done, my friend! This is a brilliant expression of an emotion we all try to hide ourselves away from. You, on the other hand, have embraced it...and there's power in that! That's the first step, in my opinion, to controlling it. I find that emotions control us the more we try to deny them. Anyway, well done NinjaGirl! Red slayed! 🌹👏

hahaha, seriously! poetry, movement, or burning things. if I embrace too much of my anger, I might become a supervillain, so let's try not to go that far... thanks for reading and commenting!

🤣 For sure. Anti-hero is the best place to stay! Write, move, and burn away! You are most welcome, my friend. ❤️
