As the days turned into weeks and time moved on. Odelia and Opal’s relationship became quite the bond. Obadiah was pleased up until the very end. Odelia was to him and his mom a true blessing. Obadiah had many talks with his mom before she died. One he will treasure is her forgiveness and unconditional love throughout his entire life. Odelia has a place with Obadiah and has decided to stay right by his side. These two have become quite close. Feelings they can not hide. There is a purpose for each of our lives. We must allow Him our steps to guide. Though Opal did not live as long as Obadiah had hoped for; he’s learned valuable life lessons about forgiveness faith, and so much more. The bond between mother and child is not always an easy road. High expectations can sometimes cause pain that no one knows. To know that He above has a greater plan; can sometimes help us better to understand. Even a poet like me still has a long way to go; I hope to see you soon on this poetry road.

I liked this final chapter that was realistic and poetic. Your rhyme and near rhyme inside the poem pulls the reader along and gives a sense of completion to the words. Very nicely done
