Fear is an enemy hard to beat.
A poison, a knife, and a gun.
Dig a hole in the cold earth and keep it all buried.
Fear is a beast, fear is a tiger, fear is a disease, and fear is a fighter.
You have to be as strong as it, but can you keep the candle lit?
Stop being scared, but will you be spared?
Spared from the destruction and spared for the pain.
All we do day after day is lay, drained and hoping for it to go away, but all in vain.
Pulling the trigger would be better if we did, make a world of shame without the fear of losing that kid.
The kid inside will always stay, a heart so full of dreams and time to play.
A fear so irrational, a fear so fake.
Remind yourself of this; you don’t have to stay awake.
