when the night time falls stars twinkle in the sky
high up in the universe shining way up high
scattered all around lighting up the night
like diamonds in the sky beneath the moon so bright
mother natures picture filled so much charm
that twinkle in the night gentle and so calm
everything so quiet as gentle as can be
just to watch the stars warms the heart in me

A poem that takes me back to when we could see the stars. With pollution and light pollution they grow fewer and fewer, some day there will be none we can see. Lovely and nostalgic Jim

The beautiful night sky is so inspiring Jim. You have created some wonderful imagery here. I have been a sky gazer for many years and often look through the skylight in my room to ponder on the unknown. Lovely read. Cold day today. Wrap up warm.
im just an old romantic at heart
where i live its open country i often look at the stars
so beautiful to see them shining on a summers night
