In a fight
With a wife
Medusa rattle
Into battle
Forgot my mirror
Now I fear her
Turned to stone
I've blown
It again!

You made me smile with this one and that deserves a Fave. Humor in poetry is like an apple in life it keeps the doctor away and is good medicine. Loved it
Glad it lightened up your day! Seriousness all day long is so heavy, isn't it?
This one is great! Relatable...says every husband ever. 🤣 Easily faved, my friend! 🌹👏
For sure! I guess one of a husband's tasks, beyond being the "provider/protector" is staying detached from what arises within himself when the wife goes into one of her moods. It's a testing task, to say the least. If you're not in a long term relationship then you have absolutely no idea what awaits you!
Great write
Thanks, Tony. Lets not forget to bring a mirror!
