THE NIGHT

Prateek Kumar Rai

THE NIGHT

The downhearted night,

Moon is radiating bright,
I am at door,
Thinking about shore.

Hearkening to the urge,
Of the old lady,
Yearning to save ,
Her submerging son.

Cursing to the youth,
 Who are taking selfies,
Booning to the guard,
Who saved her son.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is about the nature of the youth in which they take selfies and pics of the incidents and post it on their social networking sites. And on other hand some are always ready to help without thinking of their own life.
