The Suicidal Man

Ishwar Chandra

Under the starlit canopy, the night

Crept up to the forlorn man

Standing upon the balcony lattice

And cradled him in her arms

Until the break of dawn.

And as the sun rose, adorned

In sartorial elegance, he embarked

Upon his journey to vend capsules

That promised vertical ascension.
