The soldier has fallen from his path for peace,
Wounded and broken he lies in defeat.
Lifeless and gone he surrendered his fight,
Till his angel returned with her light of life.
Repaired and stronger he rises once more,
With his angels light to guide him through.
The soldier survives and finds his peace,
Protecting the angel from all the demons at Bay.
He gives her his life,
So she may smile for another day.
