theres a robin in my garden a funny as can be
when im in the garden he sits upon knee
he likes it when i stroke him sitting there so still
getting some attention gives him such a thrill

he sits there a while loves the company
my little robin friend melts the heart in me
he visits me each day happy as can  be
for his little stroke while sitting on my knee

    If only it were 5he for me, the robins I’ve met were skittish around humans and human pets as well. Such a treasure, jim!

        You’ve got a very tame robin Jim if he sits on your knee. We used to have one that hopped into the kitchen. So cute. The one in the garden now, keeps his distance. Hope your day has been ok. Very windy.

          robins around here are friendly when your digging garden
          looking for worms sit there and look at you lovely birds
          been bad winds here today another polytunnel wrecked thats two now
          shed roof felt gone so bit gutted at moment
          more work again been really bad all day
          cant do anything till spring comes now

          looks like im gonna be busy in spring and more expense to pay out
          not a good start for 2025 someones upset mother nature

              gonna build a proper greenhouse
              polytunnels not much good here
              it to open so get all the winds
              will make my own it will be solid then
              jack of all trades do anything
              take care if you go out better in doors
              till winds have gone take care jim xx
