Evening Interlude.

davidbrailsford

With the sun about

To set behind the trees

A warm refreshing

Gentle summer breeze

Caressed my face

And lingered for a while

Producing just a flicker

Of a smile.

A shroud of darkness

Beckoned to intrude

On what had been

An evening interlude

Away from the stresses

And the strain

Of a world

To which I now

Return again...

Liked how reality slips in and out like sunlight dappling from the leaves.
