Another Spring

Paul Gerard Reed

The short, dark Winter days

Wrap their twilight around you

But this is just a phase

The light will come shining through

The dull, tired minds

Filled with fear and dread

The cold and tightening binds

That wrap around your head

Will soon be cast aside and gone

And the sun will shine on everything

The season for which we long

Is on it's way - another Spring.

There is so much hope and brightness in this poem of faith. A metaphor for all we wish to be better than they are at present.
