An explanation of terms

Thoughtless

I would say that here is a bit of trivia, but knowledge is not trivial. Do you understand the difference between being an undocumented immigrant and an illegal immigrant? Probably not. There are those who want to muddy the difference. Under actual federal law, being an undocumented immigrant is a civil matter not a criminal matter. It is NOT illegal by federal or state law to be an undocumented immigrant. An illegal immigrant is one who has committed a crime that any criminal in America might commit whether an immigrant or not.
The only reason that certain powers that be, who do not care one whit about rights or free speech, want undocumented and illegal to be confused is to profile and pick up anyone who is not a stereotypical white citizen. That means anyone, who may or not be a citizen can be swept up by ICE which is NOT using legal warrants. In fact, the documents they use do not even look like warrants and are not signed by judges, which makes those papers illegal. This is for your information only.
