Sweet dreams

marky0974

Fallen into a beautiful dream

With wildflowers and a crystal stream

Where butterflies surround me in their numbers

Don't wake me from this ideal slumber

The sound of a fountain nearby

Watching tropical birds fly by

Their pretty colours laid upon wing

To my left angels sing

Harps and trumpets set the scene

To wake me up now would be so mean

Don't ever wake me I am content

Thank you God for the dream you sent

Great imagery. I could sense the want to keep dreaming. It let's us know we are alive when we are sleeping. Fantastic write.
