Dissipating

shadowbones

Through the pain

Tearing away skin

Brings me closer to death

The darkness

So overwhelmed

Pitted against my own fate

Dining on hate

Dying to wait

Leaving early

Checking out

Leave this place

With a smile on my face

I'm done

I'm out

I am no more

I felt the sadness in your words. I felt darkness but also a smile on the face, signified a change of circumstances. There is release.

Though sad words it gives an impression you have found a way out of the darkness, enjoyed the read
