Alcohol is like a pain reliever
You drink it and feel good for the moment
But after it wears off
The pain still surrounds you
You continue to drink more and more
Until it becomes addicted like a drug
You just can't help yourself
For your mind keeps telling you
It's the only way to feel better
When alcohol is just a temporary fix
It can lift you up and make you forget about your problems
Especially when you are beyond drunk
But once you are sober
You start to drink all over again
For the pain still exists and you find it hard to bear.
