In the land of wobbly wompers and bouncy-blip trees,
Lived a lad of grand stature and most curious knees.
His name was a jumbly jumble, a marvelous mix,
Copeland Aloysius Ignatius Geoffrey Charlemagne Jeremiah Miggs!
He had toes that would tap to a beat most unknown,
And a nose that could whistle a tune all its own.
His hair was a mess—oh, a glorious frizz—
It’d wiggle and jiggle, a true marvel of fizz!
One morning, young Copeland woke up with a shout,
“My hat is all squiggly! My shoes have run out!”
He leapt from his bed with a grand pirouette,
Then tripped on a muffin and landed in a pet.
The pet, it was plump, with a tail like a squid,
It wriggled and giggled, and Copeland just hid!
But the squid-tail pet said, with a wink and a smile,
“Let’s journey, young Miggs, and go travel a while!”
So off they did trot, with a dance and a leap,
Through the fields where the clouds made a squishy, sweet beep.
They met a tall tree who insisted on rhyme,
And a goat who sang opera, though out of time.
“I’ve got a great idea!” Copeland yelled with delight,
“Let’s put on a play in the middle of night!”
So they gathered some bugs, and a bat from the sky,
And a chicken who fancied himself rather spry.
The show was a flop—oh, a dreadful disgrace!
The chicken kept hiccupping right in his face!
The bat flew in circles, and the goat sang a screech,
While Copeland just laughed and did cartwheels on the beach.
The squid-tail pet chuckled, and said with a grin,
“Perhaps, dear young Miggs, we should try once again!
But let’s take a nap first, and dream up a plan,
For today’s been a stormy, quite wild little span.”
So they lay on the sand, and the sky turned to blue,
While Copeland Aloysius Ignatius Geoffrey Charlemagne Jeremiah Miggs
dreamed of cows with three eyes, and a snail wearing shoes,
And dancing marmots who would never lose!
When they woke with a yawn and a stretch of the toes,
They found they had traveled to a land full of prose!
It was odd, it was strange, it was curiously bright,
And it had a peculiar fondness for a bite.
A giant cake floated down from the sky,
And Copeland just giggled, “I’ll give it a try!”
He leapt to the top, with a flick and a twist,
And found that the cake was a very large fist!
It grabbed him with gusto and began to shout,
“We’ve got to work harder! There’s no time to pout!”
Copeland just laughed, for his mind was quite quick,
He tickled the cake with a very small stick.
The cake let him go, and said with a grin,
“Your name is too much, but your spirit will win!
Now go, dear young Miggs, with your whimsical ways,
And bring us more laughter for many long days!”
So off they did skip, on their wild, wacky quest,
With the squid-tail pet singing, "You’re one of the best!"
And though they’d adventure and stumble and fall,
Copeland Aloysius Ignatius Geoffrey Charlemagne Jeremiah Miggs would always stand tall.
For he was a boy with a name far too grand,
But his heart was as big as a sea full of sand.
He’d dance and he’d sing and he’d bring joy to all,
This hero of fun with a whimsical call.
