Bread Adriano

Crowded, busy, fast-paced
the smell of coffee, its aroma, its taste

tables and chairs, the wooden floor

“who is she?”, they asked,

elegance entered the door.

The elephants in the room disappear

with just a glance, oh, but a stare

in the abundance of people, you were set apart,

beating the stars, you may have won my heart.

For a moment with you, I would gladly share

Inches away, I consult in prayer

a skip of my heartbeat, maybe just a bounce?

her name, so unique, I could barely pronounce.

“Is this real?” so it may seem

that instant with you felt like a dream

Were there sparks? or was that the socket below?

but I think it all started the second you said, “hello”.
