Girl makes friends with the moon

Caring dove

A girl stands on a ladder

it’s made from the bark of a strong tree

she stands so many inches from the green grass

being held

so she can connect to the cloud and moon

make friends with the tender moon

who’s already friends with the sighing grey cotton cloud

she can see the soft smile

behind the sighing greys

the light behind any sadness

and the soft tenderness in the sky

and she sees she’s being held by a strength

looked after by the bark of a tender tree

and allowed to see a soft smiling light of the tender moon

grounded still

in the sky

yet held by parts of the earth
