will be gone for a week
There are many things in the world
That are impossible to reach; untouchable
Though my vision may be obscured
My thoughts are somewhat assessable
Firstly, the stars in the night sky
Lay far beyond our physical reach
Their light guides us 100 million miles up high
A star’s caress, I sometimes beseech
Then, there are memories that make me whole
Yet I can’t touch these cherished childhood thought
They’re etched deep within heart and soul
Wrapped around my mind, icy and taut
My dreams, unreachable but striking and strong
Wisps of smoke that inspire me
Fills me with power to right what’s wrong
Invisible things that make me want to be
Time, slipping through my fingers forever
If only I could freeze it, take it, stop it
It’s something that I want more of whenever
But I know that the end of time is my limit
Emotions, defining us and shaping our mood
An infinite pool of depth and diversity
They change our perspective and attitude
And are an expression of thoughts and necessity
Ideas and inspiration, forever important
The creativity that sparks the mind
Making me imaginative and want to predict a portent
I shall let innovation urge me on from behind
One crucial thing that no one can grasp
Even when it is most needed
Is hope, sometimes it escapes from my clasp
When it is elusive, I feel conceded
And so, those are the things that I believe
Are out of our reach, and out of our control
Maybe I would understand if I weren’t so naive
That untouchable things remain to deceive

You're welcome!
You have touched on the untouchable those things that are not tangible. Yet in their intangibleness they are attainable and most important in our lives. Well written and worth a fave

Deep and wide like a river of the soul!
Thanks! Have a great day.
