The Paradox of Infinity

Skally

The question of infinity—elusive to the human mind.
Yet we passively experience it, in the silent moments, in the loud ones, in moments when our hands touch, in moments when our eyes meet while the room is half-empty, and in moments when we are not living at all.
We live through it, every day—this infinity. We are trapped in its magic, surrounded and anchored by it, lying behind its veil of unknowing.

"The only moments of infinity."

We seek it in people, in nature, in the sky, in the stars, in our counterpart, and within ourselves.
Space seems permeable when the interaction takes effect. It reacts with its non-reaction.
We pass through it when our souls draw near and atoms solidify.
When a gaze cannot turn away—we experience it: infinity.
We spend our whole lives striving for it—

"some while living, others while dying."

We grasp it, feel it, taste it, breathe it, and yet it slips through our fingers, like a butterfly once held in captivity.
This singular moment resides in the deep, horizontal, and vertical space—the space we carry within our hearts.
The space where all subjects once forgot their connectedness—their wholeness.

One day, we shall return and become one with boundlessness.
Only then will we understand what it means to be reunited with all that is infinite, with all the subjects of imperishability.
Only then will we understand what it means to live the moments within infinity.
Only then will those understand, who dwell in their lifelessness within infinity.

And only then,

will you understand what it means to once again be an infinite moment.

we live in a three dimentional world and trapped in this confine we are not capable of understanding the infinate. You have brought it into personal lives in this poem and made it part of relationships and here where three dimentions do not apply it extends beyond earthly bounds. A lovely write
