FROZEN

nephilim56

In this moment
Angels sighed
Heartbeats beat
Without sound.

Frozen words
Clocks hands died
Eyes to swell
No tears cried.

Rejection voiced
Isolation calm
Merely a whistling
Of passing time.

No shelter called
A wisp on air
Knowing you
No longer care.

The chasm of love
Opened mouthed
Swallowed me
Down and down.

This poem written in a cascading form like a waterfall carries one over the edge falling to the end. Lovely
