In a mine they called home
Shiny metal made a door
Rubies leaked out and flowed
Leaving their home lifeless and cold
The sharp stainless became dull
Crystals on hardwood floor, they crawled
They invaded the space in indefinite shape
Like a pile of roses, wild and untamed.
