I SEE YOU FALLING

Mysty Monroe

I see you falling
I see you falling

Can you take me?
Will I be enough for you to hold on?

I see you standing on the edge
I see you slipping away, but I'll keep
moving on for us
You do not have to do this alone

I see you
I see you standing on the edge, with tears falling down your face
Rolling Down

You feel alone
No one hears your cries

"I do not want to do this alone"

I'm here
Right by your side
Together we can take it on
live on

I see you falling

"We have to take this road"

Look up
Look at you
Look at me
I see you , I am You

Poetic this poem leads one on a journey with another only to find that the one with whom one is traveling is one's own shadow. It's deception begins with the poem being labled over 18 and is added to by an apparent close relationship only to find that who is being talked to is oneself. A lovely twist

Very clever piece of writing, with an unexpected end, really enjoyed the read
