Walking down these empty streets, Memories of you, they haunt my sleep. Every step I take, I'm feeling lost, In this game of love, what's the cost?

You said we'd make it through the storm, But now I'm left here all alone.Tried to find the light in the dark,

But you left me with a broken heart. Your voice echoes in my mind, A melody that's hard to find.

I scream out loud, but no one hears, Drowning in my silent fears. You were my strength, my guiding star,

Now I'm reaching but you're too far. I'll rise above, won't let you win, This is where my new life begins.

You said we'd make it through the storm, But now I'm left here all alone.Tried to find the light in the dark, But you left me with a broken heart.

So I'll scream, I'll shout, I'll fight, Won't let you dim my shining light. With every step, I'll find my way, This is my anthem, hear me say.

Although hurt won't give up and will fight on is the theme of this poem. It feels powerful. Lovely
