Bamboo Forest

Agantuk

Golden moon on a dark silhouette
The whispering bamboo forest forms a quartet
With the wind, the brook, and the crickets
Singing eternally for the vagabond spirits.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I have always loved bamboo forests and the cold eerie scenery they bring makes me cozy, I tried translating that love in this poem. Also, my people believe spirits/ghosts reside in bamboo forests hence the supernatural touch :)
