Hunger

Gewar

Starving through my life,
Hunger radiates from my empty chest,
Makes me feel alive.
Yet, once sated, I'm hungry nevermore,
But not satisfied.
Rather overwhelmed to the very core
By the noxious wave.
Is it not the food,
But hunger I crave?
