Restlessly I lay

Maplespal

Restlessly I lay

It's hard to breathe when you're not next to me,
resting, dreaming, laying next to where I be.
Visually within my darkened waiting view,
I lay alone reflecting on time without you.

Missing the softness of your voices wave,
with your gentle touch I often crave.
Time pains as the moments shadow fades,
restlessly alone again I have laid.
